ICEJ Report

No Fear in Love

1 John 4:18 says, "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear..."

In response to the fear and chaos the Coronavirus has brought worldwide, ICEJ is bringing love and comfort to the Jewish people here in the land of Israel in the midst of this crisis.

As demonstrated in this video, our ICEJ team at the Haifa Home for Holocaust Survivors is taking action by delivering packages of food and other essentials right to the doorsteps of Holocaust Survivors, the elderly, and others confined to their homes. The ICEJ is partnering with local charities to help those in quarantine all across Israel in this unusual time of need.

Join us today in showing God's love and care to the Jewish people. Thank you for standing with Israel, even as your own nation deals with the Coronavirus threat.

It's Time to Spring into Passover!

Spring is almost here in Israel, which means it is time to prepare for the Passover season! Passover is a meaningful holiday where the Jewish people recall God's faithfulness of delivering them from Egypt and bringing them into the Promised Land. The Passover season blends together a serious time of preparation and reflection together along with a time of great joy and hope.

Over the next few weeks, we will explain how the people of Israel celebrate Passover, the deep significance of this holiday for us as believers, and how your support through the ICEJ has impacted many lives here in Israel during this special time of year!

It's time to spring into the preparations of Passover, so are you ready to help the Jewish people enjoy an unforgettable Passover season?

Bless Jewish Families This Passover!

Joy - Eddie James Ministries

At last year's Feast of Tabernacles, Eddie James and his young team gave shouts of JOY to the Lord on the shores of the Dead Sea at Ein Gedi.

Kenzie Kaitlin of Eddie James Ministries shared her testimony about how Jesus has changed her life. She shared about her battle with severe depression, which led to drinking, a drug overdose, and living in different psychiatric wards. It was in this low place that God met her, and she finally submitted her life to God. This was Kenzie's past, and now she sings about God's joy, love, and power. Kenzie exclaimed with so much joy, "I'm just so in love with Jesus, and I am changed."

Joshua Aaron's Rendition of "Hineh Ma Tov"

Israeli singer and song writer Joshua Aaron sang a new rendition of a traditional Hebrew song, "Hineh Ma Tov". This song, based on Psalm 133, explains the beauty of God's people dwelling together. This song and several others led to a powerful time of worship at last year's Feast of Tabernacles opening night at Ein Gedi.

Speak Up - Part Two

In Nazi Germany, there were many types of Christians. There was the silent majority, those who stood by and - through their silence - empowered Adolf Hitler to continue in his evil acts. Others, called the "German Christians" deliberately aligned themselves with Adolf Hitler and actively endorsed Nazi ideology.

And then there was the "Confessing Church," those who took a bold stand for biblical principles in the midst of overwhelming wickedness and darkness.

As you watch this video, hear from ICEJ President Jürgen Bühler as he walks the grounds of Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp in Germany. He explains more about the brave leaders who spoke up against unrighteousness and stood firm in the truth of the word of God.

Now is the time to stand up for righteousness and justice, to speak up against antisemitism, and to stand with the Jewish people today!Proverbs 31:8 - "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the right of all who are destitute."

Israeli Woman Breaking Barriers in the Automotive Industry

When Yulia wanted to fulfill her life-long dream of becoming a mechanic, she enrolled in the Starter Program; a professional apprenticeship training program that ICEJ is proud to sponsor. With much encouragement in the Starter Program, Yulia is now breaking barriers in the automotive industry in Israel by advancing as a woman in this field of work.

Today, Yulia is able to help support her family and find fulfillment in her work. Watch Yulia's inspirational story and partner with us to help other Israelis here in Israel fulfill their dream!

Speak Up Against Antisemitism - Part 1

Walking on the grounds of the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp in Germany, ICEJ President Jürgen Bühler shares about the horrors of the Holocaust. The Sachsenhausen Concentration camp was a killing machine, and it is estimated about 30,000 - 50,000 people were brutally murdered there.

Jürgen explains, "As we are standing here at Sachsenhausen concentration camp, it teaches us a lesson that we need to make sure that history does not repeat itself."

Now is the time to stand up for righteousness and justice, to speak up against antisemitism, and to stand with the Jewish people today!

The Word of God - Angus Buchan

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." (John 1:1-3)

Evangelist Angus Buchan from South Africa passionately and boldly declared the incredible importance of the Word of God at the Feast of Tabernacles 2019 in Jerusalem. Angus exhorted:

"Stop reading the newspapers and start reading the Bible."

"If the Word is not inside, then it is not coming out."

"Jesus fought the enemy with the Word of God."

As you watch this video, we pray that you will receive a new perspective on the value of the Bible and how vital it is to your daily life as a child of God! We also hope you are inspired to come to this year's Feast 2020.

40 years of ICEJ - A Mosaic of God's Faithfulness

Thanks to you, this has been a tremendous year and, for the ICEJ, 2020 will be a year of great significance and celebration as we reflect on God faithfully using us to comfort the people of Israel for the past 40 years.

The number 40 is a significant number. In the Bible, it can symbolise a time of testing which - if passed through in obedience - ends in blessing and the fulfilment of God’s promises.

Thank you for being a part of this miraculous journey.

It is our privilege to be your Embassy in Jerusalem and we invite you to continue with us in prayer and support as we enter a new season of purpose that God has for the ICEJ in the years to come.

Watch this encouraging video displaying God's faithfulness to the Jewish people through the ICEJ over the past 40 years.

Please prayerfully consider giving a generous year-end gift to the ICEJ today.
